Thanks for letting us know you’re coming!

Location: 62 Askin St. (Wortley Village), London (you can park on the street)
Here’s a little scaffolding to hold the day, just enough so you know what’s unfolding and when, while the rest stays wide open for whatever wants to happen.
All meals, noonish and 5:30ish, will be potluck style.
Please bring a dish to share from your cultural background, or a food tradition that inspires you. Something with a story. Something you’d love others to taste. The more diverse and colourful our table, the yummier.
Please let us know if you’re coming with someone else. Sign them up here:
The back gate opens at 9:30am, and Sabine will guide us into a nature exploration, connecting with the land and the world beyond the visible. Around 10:30, we’ll settle in deeper with Taoist Yoga led by Joan Mortimer.
Then it’s time for a potluck lunch, somewhere around noon.
Early afternoon, we’ll weave together breath, movement, and meditation in a Qi Gong practice guided by Kim Morrison.
From 5:30 to 6:30ish, another round of potluck magic as the day shifts into evening.
As dusk settles in, around 7pm, we’ll gather for a traditional Guatemalan Cacao Ceremony with Irene Are, followed by a bonfire, music and stories under the stars.
And all day long, wander through various spots around the garden to paint, write, hang out, make music, dance, juggle, draw cards, and so much more. Spontaneous Primal Dance with Juna may break out at any time. Meet somebody new. Drop in, drift out, come back again.
We’ll close the day around 9:30pm with a circle and a few thank you’s, before sending you off into the night.
What to bring?
Bring your curiosity… your creativity, your sense of exploration … musical instruments, your voice, a song, a story, a dance and whatever else you’d love to play with and share in this communal space.
Art supplies to share, or your own crafty projects from home you’d love to work on.
We’ll also have some supplies on hand for those spontaneous outbursts of creativity and play.
And if you’re someone who gathers nature treasures, the cool sticks, feathers, reeds, pine cones, bird nests, shells, leather, twine, old jewelry, and all the other little things just waiting for a second life, bring them along. They’ll help build our community sculpture, the Hedge Witch, and whatever else unfolds throughout the day.
A few practical things too: a yoga mat and/or towel or blanket, a water bottle, a folding chair and bug spray for later in the evening.
See you soon. We can’t wait!
In sweet anticipation,
Juna & Sabine
P.s. If you’re bringing your kiddos, no worries, there will be lots for them to explore and participate in too!
