After 2 days of interesting creations (see A Very Bad Day & Thunder Bay KOA) we arrived in a beautiful spot in Grand Marais Bay, Minnesota, and lived 3 glorious days soaking up the diversity of nature around us.

How much glorious living? . . . you might ask?

There was one night of viewing nature’s spectacular pink and orange lightning show over dark blue Lake Superior

An evening meal of delicious pizza at My Sister’s Place

A day of hiking the Cascade Falls and River

Hiking to a lookout point stunning with Lord of the Rings type hollows, trees with black pine cones, wind and smoothed rocks you could sprawl over all day and have great inspirations!

Evening bike rides and walks along the marina and lighthouse, reminiscent of oceanic Maine scenery.

On June 21, the longest day of the year, we woke at 5am with a view of the moon and wondered . . . what would it take for this day & this much beauty to never end?
